From Struggles to Triumph: Capturing Dhanraj and Mitanshi in Leh-Ladakh
We plan photography session for Dhanraj and Mitanshi in the picturesque region of Leh-Ladakh for a seven-day tour, turned out to be a stormy and full of bright and even dangerous undertones. We do not imagined that this would turn into an amazing thriller of endurance and struggle, which one is facing in life’s reality.
On the very morning that we arrived at the leh airport, everything turned into an unfortunate sequence. We reached leh airport just to find one luggage bag was missing, this was not enough; at the same evening Dhanraj's finger got fractured due to falling from the hotel stairs as well, which caused us more worry, and we had to rush late at night to the hospitals In the morning the next day he woke with motion sickness and in the bathroom he broke a tooth. aand we all shocked what is happening with us, These first flings were just a beginning of the wonderful story.
It is known and commonly heard and felt at Leh-Ladakh that the weather is unpredictable so was our ride from Leh to Nubra. As I earlier mentioned, there were occasions where there were very unfavourable weather conditions, a situation that I think tested all of us. One of the issues that deterred the team was due to the severance of breath as a result of lesser oxygen in the air at high altitude.
However, Dhanraj and Mitanshi did not lose their spirit despite numerous gimlets against them. How they wanted to get the maximum out of it was inspiring to see whenever I encountered them. Despite tough conditions and very tight schedule we were able to finish the photoshoot and shoot the Dhanraj & Mitanshis photoshoot with beautiful sceneries and landmarks of Leh-Ladakh region.
Our journey took us to some of the most beautiful and serene locations:
Leh, Shanti Stupa, Khardung La Pass, Diskit Monastery Nubra, Pangong Tso, We also discovered countless other picturesque spots along the way from Leh to Nubra and Pangong Tso, each offering its own unique charm.
There were many challenges, but the photoshoot was a triumph overall. Looking at the pictures, one is showered with hope and strength of Dhanraj and Mitanshi and beauty that they share. Every picture is the evidence of breathtaking scenery of Leh-Ladakh and the wonderful time we were lucky to spend together.
This photoshoot was not only a question of getting stunning pictures; it became rather a question of how to get through the difficulties to make great shots and have wonderful memories at the end. This story of Dhanraj and Mitanshi and their Leh-Ladakh trip is just the beautiful testament that no matter what, life and romance go on. We are pleased to have been with them and to have recorded the beautiful moments that would be remembered till eternity.
